Standard Overall Online Policies:

Policy Changes:

Please be aware that we will, from time to time, update our standard overall online policies in whole or in part. Any changes will go into effect on the date posted on the site. The new policy will apply to all current and past users of our web site and will replace any prior policies.

Registration:

During registration the user is asked to give their contact information. This information is used to contact you regarding your order.

Placing Online Orders:

Information will be requested from you when you are placing an order on our site, which is used for billing and shipping purposes only, and is required in order to place and process your order. The information requested includes contact information (name, phone #, email and bill to/ship to address), and method of payment details (credit card number, expiration date and the name as it appears on the card). This contact information is used to get in touch with you if we have trouble processing your order, as well as to verify the credit card against any fraudulent use, for your protection.

Security:

Beddingtons.com has sophisticated encryption and authentication tools to protect the security of your credit card information, and we will do our best to protect its security on our systems. Specifically, every page in the beddington’s bed & bath ordering process that requests credit card information uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption, which is designed to render information unreadable should anyone try to intercept it. However, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit to or from our Web site, and you do so at your own risk. To help ensure others will not have access to your credit card information while on our Web site, we urge you to sign off on your account and close your browser window when you have finished your visit, especially if you are using a computer at work, sharing a computer with someone else or are using one in a public place.

Operational Policies and Procedures:

Pricing:

Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items in our online store may be mispriced (because of technical glitches, or typographical errors). Rest assured, however, that we always verify prices as part of our shipping procedures.

If an item's correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount and ship you the item.

If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will contact you to advise you of the price discrepancy and follow your instructions before shipping.

If any online store has an item that you require and they are selling it at a cheaper price we will match that price. The item must be the identical color, style and in stock in the size you need. Just call or send us an email directing us to the other site (with specific product information) and we will verify the details including the price and match it for you.


Shipping:


We at Beddington’s Bed & Bath will make every effort to ship your products within 5 business days of receiving your order. If all of the items ordered are available and in-stock, Customer Service will process your order and prepare it for shipping, generally within 5 business days of receiving your order. However, if your items are not in-stock or immediately available at the time of your order they will need to be transferred in from one of our retail locations which could add up to 5-10 additional business days to your delivery. Our order handling charge includes normal parcel post shipping. Surcharges may apply for large or oversized items as well as if you live in an area (certain northern or remote locations) serviced by an air stage point.

We will choose the quickest, most economical method of shipment unless you contact us to do otherwise (express delivery requests).

In most cases, your order will be sent via Expedited Canada Post.

Customs Clearance:

Continental U.S buyers bear the sole responsibility of any taxes and duties your local customs office may charge. We are required by law to disclose the full value of the package contents and cannot alter this value. If you refuse any shipment from Beddington’s Bed & Bath, you are still responsible for the original shipping costs as well as any duties, taxes and customs charges. This amount will be subtracted from your merchandise refund. Please note: We cannot be held responsible for customs actions (damage or duties, fee, etc) upon opening your package, as well as any associated costs of returning the package to beddington’s bed and bath.

Modification/Cancellation of Order:


Please be advised we try our best to ship within 5 business days of receipt of your order if all items are in stock in our warehouse. If we are contacted in regards to a modification or cancellation after 24 hours of having that order placed, we may not be able to accommodate your request. However, if you realize that you made an error immediately after placing an order, call our office and we will make the necessary changes. Please have your order number on hand.

Backorders:

We will notify you by email within 5 business days if we are temporarily out of stock and cannot supply you with your order. We will provide you with the option to either keep your order on file until the item is in stock or to cancel your order.
