    How do I create a registry with Beddington’s?
    It’s easy! You can create a gift registry online or at any one of the beddington’s stores (see store locations link for details). Our sales representatives or customer service team will guide you through the selection process and help you find everything you need. We ask that you fill out our form when you click on "create a registry" and we will have one of our bridal consultants contact you and help you set you your registry online.

    Are all the products on Beddington’s website available to add to my registry?
    Most products available from beddingtons.com are available to add to your registry online; however, at the moment we offer only a selection of our full range of products online. For assistance with an item that you are not finding on beddingtons.com, please call 1.888.233.0808 x 10 mon to fri, 9am-4:30pm (EST).

    When should I register?
    Three to six months before the wedding or other event is suggested. This way, your family and friends have enough time to purchase gifts for engagement parties and showers, as well as for your wedding. We also advise you to visit your registry regularly to make sure that there is still a wide selection of gifts for you friends and family to choose from.

    How many items should my registry include?
    A complete registry typically can include anywhere between 40 and 70 items.

    What should I include in my registry?
    You can include almost everything to complete your home! At the moment beddingtons.com offers a wide range of our in-store products from bedding and bath, to home decor and kitchen accessories. If you see something at one of our stores that you would like to include online, contact us and we will arrange to have one of our consultants walk you through the store. Once you have chosen a selection available only at our store level, we will add those items to your online registry. Please note however, that these items will not be available for online purchase. Only items you have chosen that are on our online store will be available for your guests to purchase online. All other items listed will be available for purchase through one of our stores. We recommend you call ahead for an appointment anytime Monday through Friday so you can browse at your leisure.

    Can I make changes to my registry?
    Yes you can. You may add or delete items, or make changes to your personal information on your registry whenever you wish. Changes can be made online at any time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Or, simply visit any one of our stores or call 1.888.233.0808 x 10 (for a list of our store locations please click here).

    What if I forget my password?
    If you forget your password, recovering it is easy! Just go to the my account page and click on the "recover password" button. Just enter your valid e-mail address in the blank field (the one you used for registration) and your account information will be mailed to you shortly. For security reasons, we cannot send passwords to any email address other than the one listed in your profile.     Do my friends and family need a password to access my registry online?
    It is up to you to decide whether friends and family will need a password to view your registry online. In your Event Information Options within your registry profile, you can choose whether you would like your registry to be public or private. MUST ELABORATE ON THIS>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>This password will only be necessary when your guests shop online. All registries are available for viewing in our stores without a password.
    If you decide to select a password, you will need to share it directly with your friends and family. Beddington’s Bed & Bath will not disclose any passwords.

    Will I be notified if items on my registry are on backorder, have been discontinued, or are no longer available for any reason?
    Yes. If a product is no longer available we will send you an email so you can add something else to your registry instead.When an item is not due in stock by the week prior to your event, we will send you an email in advance of your date. (Friends and family can still purchase these items for you for a later delivery, however.)

    How long do registries remain online?
    Your registry will remain active for one year after the event, unless you choose to delete the registry yourself.

    How do I let my friends and family know I have registered at Beddington’s?
    It's simple. Just log in to your registry and under "Manage Gift Registry" you have an option to send notification. First, click on "edit event recipients list" to add the recipients(guests) name and email address. Next, click on "send notification" and this will send an email to all recipients added to your list. You may also send them a "confirmation request" which they are required to reply to in order to activate their status to participate in your gift registry.

    Where can gifts from my registry be purchased?
    Gifts from your registry may be purchased online, or at any Beddington’s Bed & Bath store. (For a complete selection of our products, please visit one of our store locations or call 1.888.233.0808 x10 mon to fri, 9am to 4:30 pm for more information.
    At the moment beddingtons.com offers a wide range of our in-store products from bedding and bath, to home decor and kitchen accessories. Anything you have listed on your registry that is only available at one of our store locations, can not be purchased online at this time, but may be purchased at any one of our store locations.

    How often are registry purchases updated?
    Your registry is updated "NEED TO CONFIRM" after an order has been placed online, and within 4 days after an item is purchased at one of our stores.

    What if I receive duplicate gifts?
    NEED TO CONFIRM BUT for now --If you receive duplicate gifts, you may take the items to a Beddington’s store, where a sales associate will be happy to issue a credit note or help you choose an alternate gift. If you would prefer to return your package through the mail, please contact us at customerservice@beddingtons.com and we will provide you with the proper instructions.

    Finding and shopping from a Registry

    How do I find a registry?
    There are three ways to search for a registry: search online, call 1.888.233.0808 x 10 (5 days a week, 9:00 am to 4:300 pm (EST), or visit any Beddington’s Bed & Bath store, . Finding a registry online is easy and simple. Select the Gift Registry button from the Home Page on the side navigation. Once you are in the registry section, click on "view bridal registry". Fill in the required fields (name and date of event) and select Search. Once you find the registry that you are looking for, just click on the name to view the registry. If you are unable to find the registry or a gift that you would like to purchase, please email us at customerservice@beddingtons.com> and we will provide you with the correct information to find the registry or help you find a gift you would like to purchase online.

    What if I cannot find a registry online and I know that someone is registered with Beddingtons?
    For reasons of privacy, some people choose to limit access to their online registry. If, for some reason you cannot find the registry you are looking for, call 1.888.233.0808 x 10 (mon to fri, 9:00 am to 4:30 pm (EST) ) or by email at customerservice@beddingtons.com.

    If I am purchasing a gift, do I need a password to access a registry?
    MUST CONFIRM THIS--To ensure their privacy, some registrants choose to have friends and family use a gift-giver password. The registrant must advise gift-givers of this password in order to gain access to the registry.

    Do I need to create an account to purchase a gift?
    In order to purchase a gift from a registry you do not have to create an account but it is definitely suggested. It is easy and secure and there are several benefits to registering including viewing a complete order history, speeding up your checkout process and creating and managing a wish list. Just click on the top navigation bar on "my account to create your account and begin adding products to you cart.
