Additional Shipping Information
We at Beddington's Bed & Bath will make every effort to prepare your order for shipping within 5 business days of receiving your order, provided that all items ordered are in stock, in our warehouse. If the order is not in our warehouse, you will receive an email notification for the backorder time. In most cases it only takes 5-7 business days to have the item transferred to our warehouse from one of our stores.
Shipping surcharges may apply for large or oversized items and/or if you live in an area of Canada - certain northern or remote locations - serviced by an air stage point (Yukon, Nunavut, Northwest Territories). Such surcharges are for cost recovery only, we do not charge a mark-up on shipping costs to you.
All orders within Canada will be shipped via Canada Post Expedited or Canpar unless otherwise arranged.

Shipping Rates:
Because the shipping rate on orders will vary, the shipping charges have not been added to your subtotal. To view your total charges including shipping rate, you must first submit your address information at checkout, so that our system can calculate the cost as per your location.
If you are ordering from outside of Continental North America, you will be contacted by email with your shipping total. You must then accept or decline the charge and we will proceed with the order or cancel it.

Shipping Procedures:
In the event of a delay, we will notify you by e-mail within 5 business days of receiving your order. For orders that involve multiple items, if for some reason we become out of stock on certain items on your order we will advise you within 5 business days and special order the item for you. In this case we will advise you and request your direction (ship complete or in stages). Unless directed specifically, we will wait until your order is complete before shipping, as this will be the most economical option for you. Please contact customer service for more information.

When shipping outside of Canada, delivery service may vary due to uncontrollable circumstances with clearing international parcels though customs. Standard Delivery is 10 to 15 business days depending on the location.
Any state or federal sales taxes payable for imported products are the responsibility of the purchaser. Certain heavy or oversize items cannot be shipped outside of Canada. US customers may be asked to supply FST# or Social Security Numbers as this is required by US Customs. There may be a delay of delivery beyond our control as a result of clearing customs.
Customs Clearance Policy:
Please be aware that customers outside of Canada will bear the sole responsibility for any taxes and duties your local customs office may charge. We are required by law to disclose the full value of the package contents and cannot alter this value. If you refuse any shipment from Beddington's Bed & Bath, you are still responsible for the original shipping costs as well as any duties, taxes and customs charges. This amount will be subtracted from your merchandise refund. Please note: We cannot be held responsible for customs actions (damage or duties, fees, etc) upon opening your package, as well as any associated costs of returning the package to beddington's bed & bath.
Duties and Taxes Outside of Canada:
Please be aware that in addition to shipping costs that apply to orders over $150, all state taxes and federal customs duties will be the responsibility of the customer. For further information on Federal Customs Rates please visit this website
Rush Delivery:
We can arrange for rush delivery to most destinations. Please contact us by email at customerservice@beddingtons.com if you would like to use a courier service and the appropriate shipping charges will be added to your total. For items that we have in stock, your rush order should be received within 2-3 business days. There are some exceptions to Rush Delivery, please email customer service for more information. Please be aware that we will always search for the most economical way to ship your package.
Delivery Surcharges:
Because furniture, rugs and other large items are bulky and heavy, we may have to charge a higher rate for these items as the cost to ship is higher than smaller items. Therefore, these items may have a delivery surcharge; we will contact you by email to notify you of this charge prior to confirming and processing your order.
Shipping to a P.O. Box:
Items can only be shipped to a P.O. Box within Canada, using the Canada Post Expedited Service. We are also unable to send rush orders and extra large items to a P.O. Box.
Scheduled Deliveries:
We at Beddington's will make every effort to maintain a scheduled arrival time for your package(s), we will contact you by e-mail or by phone should any problems arise with the scheduled shipping time and delivery. If we are not able to fulfill your service selection you will be given the option to cancel your order or accept the new shipping terms.
